Psycho-billy is one of several subgenres of Rockabilly and Punk. With a 'tongue in cheek' attitude, pyschobilly's are characterized by lyrical references to science fiction, horror, lurid sexuality and other inappropriate subjects. They listen to music by bands such as The Cramps, The Meteors and The Guana Batz (formed in Feltham, Middlsex in 1983). Brothel creepers, wedge-shaped pompadours, 1950's hairstyles and tattoos are popular within this subculture.
Basically 1950's Rockabilly combined with 1970's Punk, with a pinch of sick humour.
