Bleach splotted jeans representing camouflage, always Levi, Lee or Wrangler. And for the girls, pretty much the same with some fishnets thrown in...sexy. Harrington jackets and Denim/Donkey jackets where their fav. Some followed rasicm (neo-nazis/bnp) combated by us anti-rasict skin heads. Things started to become less about race hate in 1986. Laces on their DMs showed diffrent gang-types aka yellow= anti rasicm, red= rasict. Look to Gavin Watson a skinhead photographer for amazing pictures from that time era.
